Jim was born in San Francisco, California and grew up in many different locations across the United States following his military family. He graduated from Germanna Community College in Locus Grove Virginia, with a degree in Arts and Science. Jim started his construction career as a carpenter and quickly advanced to foreman due to his eye for detail and management abilities. Jim has an impeccable safety record and quite a few notable projects in the Richmond area. Some of his projects include the Williams Mullen Building and the Newton-Beers House. Jim joins the Emerald team as our most "seasoned" Project Superintendent.
Jim's time away from work the past few years has been spent building landscape walls. He also aims to become a good bogey golfer.
