Project Details
Emerald was selected to partner with the Boy & Girls Club of Metro Richmond and the architect for a design assist transformation of an old strip center into the East Lawn Teen Center off 9 Mile Road East of Richmond. We developed and managed budgets throughout the design of the project in order to control costs and project schedules. The project included gutting the entirety of the 33,000 sf strip center and reworking the exterior with new glass storefronts, EIFS and a new entrance tower. The interior of the rooms of the space are set up to create learning centers with the hopes of building skills to help with their future careers.
